The report points out that the development of network security protection for industrial Internet platforms in China is still in its infancy, and there are many security problems in the application environment of industrial internet. Traditional network security protection technologies and equipment are mostly used to construct a security protection architecture for industrial Internet platforms, and the overall security solution is still immature. These are the inevitable challenges facing the development of industrial Internet. The report puts forward six development trends of industrial Internet security in China in the future.
 
First, the technology of active and intelligent threat detection and security protection will continue to develop. In the future, the thinking mode of industrial Internet security protection will change from the traditional event response mode to the continuous intelligent response mode, aiming at building comprehensive prediction, basic protection, response and recovery capabilities to resist the evolving high-level threats. In addition, more enterprises will build secure data warehouses in the future, and use artificial intelligence technologies such as machine learning and in-depth learning to analyze and process large security data, so as to continuously improve the security defense system. The focus of industrial Internet security architecture will also shift from passive protection to continuous universal monitoring response and automated and intelligent security protection.

Fourth, endogenous security defense will become the focus of future platform development. At present, special industrial protocols are used in industrial field, especially in control system, field equipment and among them. At the beginning of the design of these protocols, the function realization and real-time guarantee are mainly considered, and the security is weak, which gives the attacker a chance to take advantage of. Therefore, in order to protect the industrial internet, an important entry point is to enhance the integrity of the industrial Internet itself in security design and enhance the immunity of the industrial Internet itself. With the continuous improvement of network bandwidth and processing performance of computing devices, it is possible for more security mechanisms to introduce security protection of industrial Internet in the future.
