He said that the three new major tasks entrusted to Shanghai by General Secretary Xi Jinping had entered the construction period in an all-round way. The establishment of a new port-vicinity area of Shanghai Free Trade Test Zone, the establishment of a scientific innovation board and a pilot registration system, the implementation of the national strategy for the integration of the Yangtze River Delta and the China International Import Expo constituted Shanghai's promotion at a higher starting point. Hao Peng said that under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as its core, Shanghai's reform and development are changing with each passing day and achieved remarkable results. It is reported that in 2017, the SASASAC of the State Council and the Shanghai Municipal Government signed a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly promote Shanghai's acceleration of the construction of a scientific and technological innovation center with global influence, and the cooperation between the two sides has achieved positive results. With the signing of the agreement, the two sides further focused on key areas such as integrated circuits, artificial intelligence, biomedicine, major equipment, intelligent manufacturing and new energy, and promoted a number of representative central-local cooperation projects.

 

 

 

At the signing ceremony, 10 central enterprises signed strategic cooperation framework agreements with the Shanghai Municipal Government, and 39 major projects signed by central enterprises in Shanghai and R&D and innovation institutions unveiled. The relevant units of the SASASAC of Shanghai, the State Council and more than 90 responsible comrades from central enterprises attended the signing ceremony. Four leading comrades from China Eastern Airlines Group, China Shipping Group, China Sinochem and China Jiaotong Group made exchanges and speeches.

 

During their stay in Shanghai, Hao Peng and Ren Hongbin also conducted in-depth research on Shanghai Joint Investment Company and Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center to understand that state-owned capital investment company promotes the development of strategic emerging industries and central enterprises participate in the preparations for the Second China International Import Expo.
